She is a 1994 graduate of Cumhuriyet University School of Nursing. In 1998, she received her master's degree from Cumhuriyet University Institute of Health Sciences, Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Nursing and in 2002, she received her doctorate degree from Hacettepe University Institute of Health Sciences, Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Nursing. Prof. Dr. Zehra GÖLBAŞI worked as a nurse at Cumhuriyet University Health Services Application and Research Hospital between 1989-1995, as a research assistant at Cumhuriyet University between 1995-98 and at Hacettepe University School of Nursing between 1998-2002. In 2003, she was appointed as an assistant professor at Cumhuriyet University School of Nursing, in 2011 she was appointed as an associate professor in the field of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Nursing and in 2017 she was appointed as a professor. Between 2003-2019, she worked as a faculty member at Cumhuriyet University Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Nursing and carried out various administrative duties. She has various articles in national and international journals, book and book chapter authorships, project studies, various papers and speeches in national and international scientific events. Since August 2019, she has been working as a faculty member at Lokman Hekim University Faculty of Health Sciences. She continues to give master's and doctorate degree education in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Nursing. Between 2019-2021, he was the Director of Lokman Hekim University Institute of Health Sciences. He is currently serving as Vice Rector at Lokman Hekim University. Prof. Dr. Zehra Gölbaşı is married and has two children.
