Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vesile Koçak is a faculty member of Necmettin Erbakan University Faculty of Nursing, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology Nursing. She completed her undergraduate education at Selçuk University, Department of Nursing in 2008, her master's degree at Selçuk University, Institute of Health Sciences in 2014 and her PhD at Necmettin Erbakan University, Institute of Health Sciences in 2020. She started her professional career as a nurse at Selçuk University Faculty of Medicine Hospital (2009-2011), then worked as a research assistant at Selçuk University and Necmettin Erbakan University Faculty of Nursing (2012-2020). Since 2020, she has been working as a faculty member at Necmettin Erbakan University. Her academic interests are women's health, sexual health, postpartum safety perception, postpartum mental health, health technologies and artificial intelligence-based clinical decision support systems. In this context, she has been involved in many projects as an executive and researcher. Between 2024-2025, she worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Colorado College of Nursing and conducted the project titled “Depression Risk Prediction Using Electronic Health Records During Pregnancy: A Clinical Decision Support System Based on Machine Learning”. Her studies have been published in journals within the scope of SCI/SSCI and she has presented papers in many national and international conferences. He is also a referee in various academic journals and takes part in scientific commissions. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses and supervises thesis.
