Born in 1981 in Trabzon, Dr. Evşen NAZİK graduated from Gazi University Çorum School of Health in 2001 with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and continued her post-graduate education at Atatürk University Institute of Health Sciences, Obstetrics, Gynecology and Obstetrics Nursing Programme. Dr. Evşen NAZİK completed her master's degree at Atatürk University Institute of Health Sciences, Obstetrics, Gynecology and Obstetrics Nursing Programme in 2005 and her doctorate degree in 2009. Dr Evşen NAZİK started her professional career as a research assistant at Atatürk University Erzurum Health School in 2003. In 2008, she joined Çukurova University Adana School of Health as a Research Assistant and between 2011-2013 she worked as an Assistant Professor at the same university. Dr Nazik received the title of “Associate Professor” in October 2013. Prof. Nazik is currently working as a professor at Çukurova University Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Nursing. Prof. NAZİK has served in various positions related to education and management, including Assistant Director, Assistant Dean, Representative of Çukurova University Senate Faculty of Health Sciences. Head of the Department of Nursing, Head of the Department of Nursing, Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Nursing, and Faculty Board Member of the Faculty of Health Sciences are among his ongoing duties. Prof. Nazik has more than 100 articles published in national and international indexed journals, 29 national and international projects supported at national and international level (such as TÜBİTAK, European Union, UN, BAP), 27 national scientific books, more than 150 papers presented in national and international congresses, and 25 master's and doctoral thesis consultancy. Her research interests include women's health, reproductive health/sexual health, antenatal/natal/postnatal care, family planning, women's health in disaster and crisis situations, and women's empowerment.
